This 2- or 3-night long-weekend yoga retreat at glorious Santillán includes six led-practice classes over Thursday to Sunday. You can arrive anytime on Thursday 30th November & leave anytime on Sunday 3rd December. You can choose to stay 3 nights, Thursday to Sunday.
There will be a class on Thursday afternoon at 5:00pm, two classes on Friday and Saturday at 8:30am & 5:00pm & a morning class on Sunday at 8:30am.
The morning class is more dynamic, the afternoon more restorative. The yoga practices conclude with a yin/yang yoga class on Sunday morning.
Santillán serves three nutritious Mediterranean influenced meals a day created by our wonderful chef Javier.
You are free to attend all or any of the classes scheduled, while there will be ample time to enjoy Santillán’s facilities, estate, and surrounding hills at this usually pleasant time of year. There are many kilometres of walking trails and we have just opened up a path down the valley to the sea taking you right to the water’s edge without even needing to cross a road. The salt-water pool will be open, if still a tad bracing at first contact, and the gardens will be beginning to awaken into spring.
In November the weather can be warm and sunny during the day & colder at night. This is a lovely time of year here in Andalucia.
I will also offer a guided walk in the surrounding hills during the weekend.
Massage and other complementary therapies will be available to book throughout the retreat period.
All rooms are en-suite with private balcony or terrace.

If space is available, which we will not know until nearer the time, if you wish to stay on until Monday payment for the extra night is direct to Santillán upon arrival (euros 119 share / 159 single – plus 10% Spanish VAT). The price includes breakfast on Monday. You would be welcome to join my Mellow Magic Monday Zoom class at 10:30-11:45. Please let me know if you wish to be on a wait-list to stay Sunday night. There will not be a formal dinner on Sunday evening as the staff will be on break, although Santillan will have some prepared food.

Santillán is my yoga ‘home’ and where I lead the majority of my teacher trainings and retreats. Santillán offers one of Europe's finest fully equipped yoga studios, spacious en-suite accommodation, a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities including a salt-water swimming pool, at a peaceful sea-facing private valley location only 35-40 minutes east of Malaga airport. And some of the best beaches in the area are only a short car ride away, or 45 minute walk.
I love to teach in the state-of-the-art 160m2 studio which features 24 stations of the Great Yoga Wall. The yoga studio, fitted with a full range of yoga props, a cushioned wooden floor, ceiling fans and other details for retreats and trainings, was designed by myself and Adriana with special assistance from Eija Tervonen in providing the finest props available for this bright and beautiful space. Our intention is to create the ultimate yoga studio experience for teachers and students of all styles of yoga.
We have just cultivated an additional hectare of land for organic vegetables and have planted many new fruit trees. You will be able to juice your oranges straight from the tree in season. We have relocated and enlarged the chicken and duck garden and the ducks swimming pool, which will increase the quantity of fresh organic eggs each day. We are opening up further walking paths and currently designing a new indoor fitness studio and spa. Santillán continues to grow ever more special.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is in spacious and comfortable single or twin/double or triple rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, balconies or patios and fabulous sea views or views to the tropical gardens.

PLEASE NOTE: If the retreat is cancelled by Santillan or attendance is not possible due to government lockdowns, restrictions on travel, quarantine requirements or social distancing your deposit / payments will be refunded in full, OR your deposit / payment can be transferred to guarantee a same booking at a future retreat at the rate paid, even if the future retreat is charged at a higher rate. The choice is yours.
TRAVEL
The nearest airport is Malaga, which has an international airport. It is only 30 minutes' drive away, and we can arrange airport pick-up if you don't want to hire a car.

INSURANCE
It is a condition of this holiday that each person has personal travel insurance appropriate to activity and fitness centred holidays and cover for travel expenses in case of cancellation.
